1965 Lord Of The Rings J. R. R Tolkien Box Set withMaps Houghton Mifflin 2ND ED

This is a vintage 1965 "Lord of the Rings" box set by J. Tolkien, published by Houghton Mifflin in the United States. The set includes maps and is a revised edition.

It falls under the fantasy genre and is suitable for various age groups, including young adults and adults. The box set contains the complete "Lord of the Rings" series and is a collector's item.

All books have "- to the Pruetts - from Ed Christmas 1976" on the first page upon opening each book, only writing we from on the book. There is light spotting on the first and last pages.

The rest of the pages are white. "The Return of the King" book is the eleventh printing. The dust cover has light wear and small tear on top spine area. The map is still attached. "The Two Towers" book is the eleventh printing. All books are used (unless the book is listed as new). Any writing inside of the book will be noted. We try to be as selected with our used books, but it is still possible that books that are more than 30 pages may have highlight marks, light writing, and/or notes from the previous owners.

We make sure to check bindings on all books and if any issues are noted below and in the photos. Most books are found in storage, so some books can or may have an old book musk smell to them. Any notable heavy smells will be noted below.
