1965 Lord of the Rings trilogy set by J. R. R. Tolkien -2nd Revised Edition withmaps

The Lord of the Rings trilogy (hardcover book set) - by JRR Tolkien - this is the revised edition from 1965 (the 2nd American Edition) published by HoughtonMifflin. This set does not include the slipcase. The Fellowship of the Ring (11th Printing) - This copy is inreally good vintage shape. The dustjacket has a few small tears, andthere's an indentation on the top back cover (spine side). There somediscoloration on the top (outside) of the pages. The binding is reallytight and the pages are clean. The Two Towers (9th Printing) - This copy is also in reallygood vintage shape.

The dustjacket has some small tears, spots, andshelfwear, but nothing major. The binding is tight and the pages areclean. The Return of the King (14th Printing) - The dustjacket is in rough shape. It's got several holes and its starting to come apart where it folds. The dustjacket is price clipped.

There's a stain onthe outside of the pages (opposite the spine), but the binding is tight and thepages are clean. Please see all photos and let me know if you have anyquestions. This is a really nice collectible piece for a fan of Tolkien's work (The Hobbit, The Lord of the RIngs, The Silmarillion) or Peter Jackson's films.
