The series, first intended as a sequel to his popular work'The Hobbit', is now one of the most popular fantasy works of all time. In this work, Frodo sets off on his journey with the ring, and the fellowship is formed. In the publisher's original cloth. Externally very smart with a slight lean, minimal bumping and light rubbing to the extremities, and light rubbing to the joints with very small closed tears to their tails. Internally firmly bound with generally clean and bright pages with the odd minor spot and minimal age toning to the extremities.Fine - Very well preserved copy showing very little wear. Only one or two minor faults, really a very attractive copy. Quite a wide term meaning no major faults but probably several smaller ones.
