1974 Lord Of The Rings Trilogy By Jrr Tolkien Hbs With Dustjackets Fine Lotr

I have here for sale a lovely fine set of THE LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY (Fellowship of the Ring; Two Towers; and The Return of the King) by J R R Tolkien. Fellowship of the Ring is a 2nd edition 10th impression published in 1978 and the other two are both 2nd edition 9th impression published in 1974. All three have dustjackets in fine condition (only the Two Towers has very slight fading to the spine). Return of the King has a stain to the page edges but this has not bled at all onto the pages themselves. All bound in dark red hardboards with gilt lettering to the spines.

All the front covers have white title lettering and then the Eye of Sauron in the centre, surrounded by a yellow circle and a circular runic inscription. All three have fold-out maps in black and red at the back of the book. Very good condition with all pages present and tightly bound in.

Dust jackets all pretty good also. Vol I - 423 pages, Vol II - 352 pages, Vol III - 440 pages.
