1978 Lord of the Rings J. R. R. Tolkien Hardcover Box Set with Maps

The Lord of the Rings hardcover box set by J. Houghton Mifflin Company 2nd edition printed in 1978. This is a rare vintage edition and each book includes a foldout map at the back.

The box is somewhat worn, especially on the bottom edges, but is still intact and useable. The dust jackets show some wear on the top and bottom edges of the spine.

But the books themselves are in great condition. The maps are still intact and in great condition.
