First American Edition, mixed printings of The Lord of the Rings Trilogy by J. All volumes have some fading to the jacket spine. All volumes also have clear tape supporting a number of the corners and hinges of the dust jacket (on the outside of the jacket). The Fellowship of the Ring - 16th printing.

Folding map in back is there, but detached from the rear end paper. A couple of water stains on the jacket spine.

Some creasing to back of the jacket. Minor loss to bottom of dust jacket spine. The Two Towers - 13th printing.

Minor loss to top of dust jacket spine, small nick missing from top back of jacket. Small stain to top of text block but does not bleed into the pages. The Return of the King - 13th printing.

Some creasing to the front of the jacket. One of the clear pieces of tape has some wrinkles that make it more visible than the others. Minor loss to top of jacket spine. Small missing piece on back of dust jacket. A couple of small stains to top of text block, does not bleed into the pages.
