Readers Union, first bookclub editions. Surprisingly rare especially in good condition. Books are read once condition overall, several corners dented. Jackets have much age and use related wear, staining and sunning. Tattered spine ends and corners, wear on leading edges, many closed tears, especially on FotR which have been reinforced on the reverse to stop further tearing with acid free book tape. Finer condition are twice the price or more on this now rare set. Second photos show in Mylar protectors which smartens them up nicely. About our Pricing, why so much?
