The Lord of The Rings by J. Harpercollins deluxe India paper edition, fourth impression in this form published in 2002. Only the 3rd and 4th impressions of this edition were issued with the faux leather covering to the slipcase. Quarter bound in black leather with cloth sides, gilt monogram to the front, gilt titles to spine, all page edges gilt, map endpapers in black and red ink, pages printed on fine India paper, 1137 pages. Black faux leather slipcase with gilt monogram. Slipcase tidy, some very minor scratches, a lovely copy in very good condition.
