Second Edition, third impression 1968 set published by George Allen & Unwin. Correct impression dust jackets, unclipped, original price 25s. Jackets with wear, small tears and chipping to the spine ends, also creasing to the joints, the rear panels are discoloured, with several marks or stains to the jackets, which are now in tidy removable protective wrappers. Red covers with bright gilt lettering to the spines, spine ends bruised, The Fellowship has a bump to one corner, top edges with a few marks, edge of page blocks spotted, pages otherwise generally tidy, a rare minor spot or crease, some spots to the edge of the last couple of pages, no inscriptions, complete with fold out map at the end of each volume. A little less than good condition.
