Up for grabs are three books from the Lord of the Rings series. All three books have writing on the side from their library catalog. The Fellowship of the Ring - the title and author of the book appears to have been written on the spine. A few markings on the cover from where inside dust jacket content has been taped, this book is the second printing from 1966 and was printed in the United States. There are some spots on the first couple of pages and writing and tape descriptions on the back.
There is a picture of the map of the Shire before book one no library stamping on the inside. The top of this book is stamped Property of the US Army. The Two Towers- this book has writing on the spine for cataloging. The inside cover has the description taped to it and there are repairs from its age on the second page. However, the contents of the book are intact after the content page. There is taping and some damage at the end and markings and wear on the back inside cover. The Return of the King - this book includes its original dust jacket, but has been torn, and there is some staining on the cover. The cataloging writing appears to be on the dust jacket and not the spine of the dust jacket itself. The map has been torn out and there is damage shown in photos on the title page. This is the seventh impression from 1961, printed in Great Britain and include Special services library stamp from the Air Force.
The pages of the book have no writings staining or rips. There is a red mark on the inside cover and some spine damage on the very last page. We have done our best to detail the damage in our photos.
