STUDENT (VERY GOOD) & TEACHER'S EDITION (GOOD/FAIR) An excellent source for a textbook for an in-depth study at home for a student or class of this Tolkien masterpiece. Included with this sale are the student workbook in (better than) VERY GOOD condition. There are no marks in the book, it is fully intact with very little wear, it is just an older book, printed in 2004, so it is just an older book, but for that fact, it is in really good shape.

The teacher's edition is in good condition. All the pages are included. It is in a three ring binder, and some of the pages are beginning to show considerable wear (photos included to show the wear). The binder itself is worn, but could easily be replaced, as well as the worn pages, for that matter. None of the pages have been marked on, it's just likely been well-flipped through.

Having used this resource as a guide for my eleventh grade student, I found it to be a great guide, and believe it could be used in a number of ways, as a step-by-step curriculum, an outline, or a general discussion guide. However it is used, you can't go wrong with J. Tolkien's Lord of the RIngs. I was excited to share the experience with my son. "Literary Lessons from The Lord of the Rings" by Amelia Harper, published by Homescholar Books in 2004. This spiralbound book is a companion to the The Lord of the Rings (not included). It offers literary criticism and collections, illustrated by John Howe. With 622 pages, this textbook provides in-depth analysis and context for students and educators to delve into the literary aspects of J.
