Lord of the Rings Trilogy by JRR Tolkien. W/ Dust and Slip Covers 1965. 2nd Edition, 4th & 5th Printings. Would make a great gift for a special occasion, or keep for yourself.

Great set of books here. "The Fellowship of the Ring" is the revised second edition, fifth printing.

"The Two Towers" book is the revised second edition, fourth printing. "The Return of the King" is the revised second edition, fourth printing. The books also, has the slip cover. The book were printed in 1965.

Published by Houghton Mifflin Co. The dust covers are in place. They show from wear and tear from use and age. The slip cover that holds the 3 books is also with the set. Still has a nice red, black and gold colored sticker on the one side of it.

Each of the book has the maps in place that were first available in these revised books. Maps are intact and still attached to each book in the back of them.

Each book has black hardboard covers with a colored design of the eye on the front. In very nice condition under the dust covers. The author name, book name. And publisher's initial are reflected on the spine of each book. No writing or marks of any sort in any of the three books.

Some minor soiling from age in places. The pages are still securely bound within the book. Each book is 9" tall, by 6" across, by 1-5/16 wide.

The first book is 423 pages in length. The second book is 352 pages in length. The third book is 440 pages in length. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures.
