Bound in publisher's red cloth with spines lettered in gilt. Folding maps in red and black at rear of each volume. Fellowship of the Ring is rebacked. Cloth is worn and stained, gilt on spine is tarnished and rubbed, spines faded. Cambridge booksellers ticket at front pastedowns with previous owner's name to each front free endpaper dated 1959; light toning to contents. Lean to bindings of The Two Towers and The Return of the King.
