RARE Lord of the Rings Tolkien 2nd Ed 3 Volume Hardcover Box Set with Maps 1965

RARE COLLECTORS 2nd EDITION HARDCOVER BOXED TRILOGY! Lord Of The Rings Trilogy Hardcover Boxed Set 2nd Edition w/ Maps 1965. Includes: "The Fellowship of the Ring", "The Two Towers, and "The Return of the King. Please refer to lots of photo for condition.

All books are in very good condition with tight binding with light fading on the outer edge of the covers. The front and back dust covers are bright with minor rubbing on the edges, and the books themselves they really don't look read - and sadly my son did not read them.

Each book has a map included in a pocket in the back page, and those maps don't look like they have ever been opened. The covers of the books each have impressed color design of the Eye of Sauron, with the spines having the title in gold gilt lettering. The box has red applied cover with gold lettering on box, and the box / case itself has rubbing, fading, and a tear on the top back edge. Please ask any questions before purchasing, as this is a collectable vintage set, which I've tried to describe in detail and include plenty of photos, and while absolutely beautiful, they are not perfect.
