The Lord of the Rings by J. R. R Tolkien 3 Volume Set First American Editions 1962

The Lord of The Rings Trilogy Set. All 3 volumes are in near fine condition in copies of new first edition dust jackets in removable plastic sleeves. They are blue cloth hard covers with the titles in gold on the front covers and the spines.

The covers are clean and stain free. The spine of The Fellowship of the Ring has darkened a bit from sunning. All of the printing is present and sharp and presentable.

All corners are sharp with no bumping. The is some mild edge wear to the points and top and bottom edges of the spine but there is no splitting or fraying of the cloth. All of the bindings are solid and square. The hinges of every volume are crack free. There no signs of former ownership inside. The pages and maps have yellowed due to age. All of the foldout maps are in the back and appear pristine and crisp. The pages are clean and free of any marks or tears.

These are not the original dust jackets but new exact copies of the first edition one. This is a very hard to find set in this condition. Titles Included in this set are.
