The Lord of the Rings J. R. R. Tolkien Hardcover Collector's Edition 1974 1st p

This is the first printing of the 1974 Collector's Edition. However, is considered the second printing of the Lord of the Rings. This edition is hardcover in red leather with slipcase. Condition is Very Good Used Condition. Since this is a rare edition, I want to be sure to point out any imperfections. Map of Middle Earth has a very small tear where it unfolds, as shown above. Pages are tight, but there was one small fold as shown. And, a smudge on the title page. While these are minor, I want to make sure they are noted.
