The Lord of the Rings trilogy by J. 1965 second edition box set with the original slipcase. Altogether in Near Fine condition and with all original maps still attached in the back of each book. Published by Houghton Mifflin Company, Boston. All three books are Near Fine, bright, clean and unmarked hardcovers with unclipped dust jackets. They're also protected in removable mylar covers. Light corner wear to the jackets only.

Each book is as follows. The Fellowship of the Ring: 1965 ninth printing. The Two Towers: 1966 second printing. The Return of the King: 1965 eighth printing. The box/slipcase is bright and clean with just minor shelf wear at the corners.

This complete set is scarce and collectible in this condition.
