The Two Towers 1962 9th Imp The Lord of The Rings First Edition J R R Tolkien

The Two Towers by J. First edition, ninth impression 1962 published by George Allen & Unwin. Correct impression dust jacket generally bright, though tanned to the spine, unclipped, a few small marks, some minor wear to the edges. Red covers, bruised to the bottom of the spine, gilt lettering to the spine is bright, there is a seam line in the cloth to the back panel which I believe has been part of the cloth prior to the printing of this book. Securely bound, slight fading to the top edge, edge of page block plus endpapers with some faint minor spots, otherwise tidy pages, free from inscriptions, complete with fold out map at the back.
