The Two Towers 1963 10th Imp The Lord of The Rings J R R Tolkien First Edition

The Two Towers by J. First edition, tenth impression 1963 published by George Allen & Unwin. Unclipped dust jacket is tanned, with chipping to the spine tips, plus a tear to the bottom of the spine, the red letters to the spine are faded. Jacket is an 11th impression, though almost certainly on from new, as the publishers regularly reused surplus stock between printings.

Jacket now in a removable protective wrapper. Red covers, red top edge, bright gilt lettering to the spine, boards very slightly splayed towards the head.

Book with a well used feel, clean pages, a little age toned, there is indentation to the corner of pages between p33-65. No inscriptions, complete with fold out map at the back.
