Tolkien HB Hobbit LotR Lord of the Rings 1st Edition 8/7/6 Impression GA&U NICE

Super clean 1st Edition George Allen & Unwin Lord of the RIngs by Tolkien. This is an 8/7/6 Impression ex libris set.

Some small inventory tag on the back cover of Fellowship. IDK what that's from. Dustjackets are original, clean and unblemished except for a small spot on the cover of Fellowship (see photos). Boards are bright red and top staining is deep, rich and no water spots present.

Spines are nice and tight. Paper is off white/white without foxing, mildew, mold or any of that nonsense. Maps are tight and intact. The libris tag is present in all 3 books and translates as "True to Nature" featuring some mushrooms. I thought it was very fitting for the books and is probably a libris tag a hobbit would keep.

Books are about as clean as they come honestly. Look at the photos, see for yourself and check my feedback for the accuracy of my descriptions. You're getting EXACTLY what's pictured and as described. Investment grade 1st LotRs for sure.
