Complete three volume set of "The Lord of the Rings" by J. Tolkien, all first editions in varying impressions and with original dust jackets. All in red buckram boards with gilt spine titling, red topstain, and foldout maps in rear. "The Fellowship of the Ring" by J. Tolkien [George Allen & Unwin, 1961]. Head of spine lightly sunned and tail with a small tear. Some minor foxing in margins. Jacket somewhat soiled, spine face discolored, and with worn edges. Very Good- in Good jacket. "The Two Towers" by J. Tolkien [George Allen & Unwin, 1960]. Cloth quite clean and spine gilt bright. Page edges and endpapers lightly foxed. Jacket discolored on spine face but panels both very clean. Very Good in Very Good- jacket.

"The Return of the King" by J. Lower front corner of cloth discolored, perhaps from light damp, but doesn't protrude internally. Fore edge and endpapers foxed. Textblock clean and binding sound.

Jacket spine face discolored and front panel spotted. Very Good in Good+ jacket.
